I have lots of books about trucks but none is as thrilling as this one. A wealth of pictures and information - I doubt that there's another book which delivers such a complete history of 100 years of trucking in the U.S.
The only flaw (if you want to find one)
This bevy of semi trucks throughout the 20th Century highlights major manufacturers such as Ford, Freightliner, GMC, International, Mack, and Peterbilt, plus a variety of minor manufacturers. This lavishly illustrated volume is arranged chronologically and contains detailed captions about each featured vehicle. Also identifies trailer manufacturers.
